Defending champions Barak FC enters Classic Cup final

Our Correspondent Kohima | November 26   Defending champions Barak FC today eased past Head Hunter 3-0 in the first semifinals to book a berth in final of the ongoing 22nd Classic Cup here at the Kohima Local Ground. The match remained scoreless till the first half. However, the defending champions had no intent of playing out a draw and grabbed two quick goals in the second half.   Kevi Zhimomi opened the account for Barak FC in the 66th minute while Keneisedelie doubled the lead four minutes later. Rhitso Mero netted another goal for Barak FC to wrap the scoring. Sakutemjen and Salu of Barak FC and Hemping and Tiakaba of Head Hunters were shown yellow card for unsporting play.   Meanwhile, the second semi finals between Naga FC and Kuki United FC will take place on November 28 at 2:00 pm.
