Imnatiba, Advisor Industries & Commerce, Chairman NIDC at the Delhi Ao Students’ Union 29th Freshers’ Meet held on October 13.
New Delhi, October 15 (MExN): The Delhi Ao Students’ Union (DAKT) held its 29th Freshers’ Meet on October 13 at Nagaland House, New Delhi with over 300 delegates in attendance, stated a press release. The President, DAKT Rongsensuwa Jamir welcomed the gathering and emphasized on the importance and meaning of the motto, “Telongjem Nung Terenlok.”
Dr. Moatoshi Imchen, Delhi Ao Senso Telongjem in his exhortation, spoke on the importance of laws and customs, discipline and self-independence.
Special Invitee Imnatiba, Advisor Industries & Commerce, Chairman NIDC, Government of Nagaland encouraged the students to keep student bodies relevant and maintain a “sense of obligation and sense of responsibility” towards student bodies. The Chief Speaker, Dr. Chubamenla Jamir, Assistant Professor, TERI School of Advanced Studies, prompted the youth to grow “from job seekers to job creators” and create job markets to tackle “unemployment and development challenges.”
A speech from the freshers was given by Temshimeren Longkumer. The programme also showcased other talents on music and traditional dance. The formal session was followed by dinner and an informal session where more talents were showcased.
