Delhi ENSU silver jubilee celebration on Nov 26

New Delhi, November 15 (MExN): The Organizing Committee of Delhi Eastern Nagaland Students' Union Silver Jubilee has announced that the DENSU (formerly known as ENSUD i.e., Eastern Nagaland Students' Union Delhi) will be marking the 25 years of its existence with a celebration on November 26 at Nagaland House Lawn, 29 Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi.   The occasion will be graced by P. Longon, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland as chief guest and K. Asungba Sangtam, former Member of Parliament, advisor to ENPO as guest of honour.   To mark and honor the celebration, DENSU supported by Naiba Konyak, Advisor, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency ¬will construct an indigenous Morung along with a log drum at the venue which will be first of its kind in the national capital, said the Organising Committee in a press release.   “The event will be a time to acknowledge the pioneers and the many leaders who helped make the Union the vibrant community that it is today. It will also offer a glimpse of variety of authentic Eastern cuisines blended with rare organic herbs from the hills of the far East, prepared by the Eastern Nagaland Women Organization,” it added.   The celebration will also feature performances by eminent artists of Eastern Nagaland such Ethnic Fusion by Doichong Buchem, Tali Angh, Vivian Chang, Moba Inngang (featuring Wannyen Bezo). Photographers for the event will be Delhi Fashion Club & Stoned Photography. Fingerprint (Event & Design) Nagaland will be the official event partner for the event.   The Organizing Committee has extended warm welcome to each and everyone and requested all the alumni to be part of the occasion.
