Longleng, June 25 (MExN): A week-long demand driven skill development programme for the youth of Nagaland in Construction Sector 2022-23, organised by Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in partnership with Zynorique Initiative Society at Tamlu, under Longleng district concluded on June 25. 

In the culmination programme, the village council, student union and church of Tamlu town and village conveyed gratitude to Government of Nagaland, Department of Employment Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Zynorique Initiative Society for the excellent and much needed demand driven skill development program for the Youth of Longleng district.

One of the trainee remarked, “The skills and knowledge of plumbing, tiling, bricklaying, stone work which I have gained throughout my practical training, I perceive as very valuable component in my future livelihood.” 

All the successful participants were awarded with certificate and working tools and machineries. Altogether 5O participants attended the skills training on plumping, tiling and masonary works, stated a press release received here. 

The objective of the training was to increase in proficiency, grow skill sets, achieve task in less time with more results and to increase in performance and also providing more employability in construction sector.
