Tuensang, July 5 (MExN): The fifth lap of the demand-driven skill development training programme for the youths of Nagaland in the Construction Sector, organized by the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kohima and District Skill Committee, Tuensang, with Zynorique Initiative Society as the empanelled training partner has commenced on July 4 at Longkhim Town, Tuensang.
A DIPR report stated that in the inaugural programme, the welcome address on behalf of the Department was delivered by Er Netenba Ajem, Vice-Principal, Government ITI, Tuensang. Dedicatory prayer for the youths and for the training was done by Dr Longre, Pastor, Longkhim Town Baptist Church while a short speech about the importance of skill development and opportunities in the construction sector was shared by Phuleshe K Yepthomi, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Longkhim, Nagaland. Altogether 50 unemployed youths will be trained in plumbing and electrician works.
