Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The ACS & Commissioner Nagaland, officers, and staff of the District Administration Nagaland expressed shock over the untimely demise of S. Nongothung Ezung, NCS, who was serving as SDO (C) Tuensang. “We offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family at this hour of bereavement and pray to Almighty God to give them strength and solace,” a release received here said today.
Parliamentary Secretary, Geology & Mining, Irrigation & Flood Control and Border Affairs, government of Nagaland, Y. Patton has condole the untimely demise of Late Nongothung Ezung, SDO (C), Tuensang who breathe his last on 28 January last at New Delhi. Expressing his sadness over the demise, Patton stated that Late Ezung was a young reasonable officer among the NCS cadre having many appreciable qualities and talents such as music etc. Terming the demise of Late Ezung having created a huge vacuum where he said it is difficult to fill and it is not only the lost to the family and the Kyong community alone but to the whole Nagas in general. Sharing a moment of sadness, he further share his anguish ness and sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul would rest in peace.
The Deputy Commissioner Tuensang along with the officers and staffs of the DC Tuensang has expressed regret and sorrow over the demise of S. Nongthung Ezung, SDO (C) Tuensang. The DC Tuensang in a message has conveyed their prayer of comfort to the bereaved family. The Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA) mourns the untimely demise of one of its member, Late S. Nongothung Ezung, NCS, SDO (Civil) Tuensang of 1991 batch of NCS, who passed away on January 28, 2011 at Delhi while undergoing medical treatment. The Association through a condolence note issued by Vikeyie Kenya, NCS, general secretary, NCSA conveys its deep sorrow and heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and prays to the almighty God to grant solace to the family. “May his soul rest in peace,” stated the note.
