Phek, September 1 (MExN): ATMA Phek Kikruma Block conducted demonstration on cultivation of winter vegetable crops at Kikruma village on August 26.
ATMA officials under Kikruma Block were the resource person for the demonstration. A similar demonstration program was also held at Rihuba village on August 27.
Other topics like preparation of Bordeaux mixture for orchard management as well as training on rodent management were also covered. Free distribution of face mask, Roban and various seeds of winter vegetable crops were also distributed to the farmers. Altogether 39 farmers were benefited from the ATMA program activities.
Besides, a Banana Farm School was also established at Kikruma village with Avevo Tunyi appointed as the Farm School Teacher.
