Kohima, February 9 (DIPR): The review meeting of the Nodal officers for universities secular college, polytechnics, DIET and Nursing institutes under the Department of Higher Education was held on February 5 at the Directorate of Higher Education Nagaland.
Director Higher Education, I. Alempokba stated that as per the direction from the Ministry of Human Resource development the review meeting was held, while 54 participants from the said institute attended the review meeting. He also said that in the meeting, universities secular college, polytechnic, DIETS and Nursing institute within Nagaland were reminded that All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) for the year 2015-16s has been launched by the Minister for Human Resource Development, Zubini on 21st December 2015. The Director said that the uploading of the data in the prescribe data capture format by the institutions has to be completed by 28th February 2016.
In this connection, Institutes within Nagaland are requested to upload on priority All India Survey on Higher Education Data for 2015-16 by February 13, 2016. He also informed that Minister for Human Resource Development is calling for a video conference with the Departments of Higher Education in all the States on February 16.
