Kohima, August 12 (DIPR): In the terms of the P&AR’s notification of August 7, 2009, the Nagaland Retirement from Public Employment (Second Amendment) Act 2009 (Act No. 7 of 2009) will come into force with effect from 31st October 2009. All government departments have been directed to issue retirement orders in respect of government employees working under their control and who are to retire on the strength of the provisions of the above Act. This was stated by the state’s Chief Secretary Lalthara, in an office memorandum issued on 10th August 2009.
