Dept of Soil & Water Conservation accords farewell to outgoing Director

Kohima, September 1 (MExN): The Department of Soil & Water Conservation (DoS&WC), Nagaland accorded farewell to its outgoing Director, Viliehu Nguzhü in a programme held at the Directorate’s Conference hall, Kohima on August 31. 

Minister, Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining V Kashiho Sangtam who attended the function, said that Nguzhü was a man of positive attitude who has been a true leader and a good officer. He encouraged him to continue serving the society with the same zeal and enthusiasm. 

The incoming Director, K Zhekheto Awomi acknowledged Nguzhü for setting a high benchmark for the Department and that he conducted himself in an impeccable manner and upheld the working ethics with much prudence.

In his speech, Nguzhü expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of his service life. He thanked the Minister, Commissioner & Secretary and Departmental staff for rendering full support and cooperation during the years of active service. 

Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Tsobahü Rhakho and AS Joint Director, Hovuto Zhimomi also spoke during the function. The vote of thanks was proposed by L.Chubaonen, Joint Director.
