DIMAPUR, AUGUST 7 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton has congratulated Jagdeep Dhankar for being elected as the 14th Vice President of India. Patton, in a press release, said that Dhankhar, with his vast knowledge in legal affairs and Indian politics, is best suited to chair the Upper House. The Deputy CM, on behalf of the state BJP legislators, wished him all the best of health and foresight during his tenure.

The Deputy Chief Minister meanwhile also greeted the Yimkhungs on the occasion of Metemneo. Patton said that the post harvesting of millets is celebrated as a time for thanksgiving, forgiveness and remembering the departed.
