
Dimapur, August 6 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister & BJP Leader Nagaland, Y Patton and the Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS) has condoled the demise of Late Rev Moa Longchari, who passed away at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai on August 5.
The Deputy Chief Minister, in a condolence message issued by the Media Cell Deputy Chief Minister’s Office, has expressed his “deep grief and sorrow” over the untimely demise of Late Rev Moa Longchari, brother-in-law of the Chief Minister Niepheiu Rio and Pastor of Baptist Mission Church Kohima (BMC). “His sudden demise is not only a huge loss to the family but the churches and people of Nagaland have lost a faithful, humble and fearful servant of God,” he stated.
The Deputy CM on behalf of all the BJP legislators, Nagaland also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
In another message, the Principal of Oriental Theological Seminary (OTC) stated that the OTC community celebrates the life of Late Rev Moa, further stating that “he was the living legacy of his grandfather Rev Longri Ao, a formidable pillar of the Naga church.”
“Rev Moa was endowed with enormous potential and dynamic leadership qualities. Though his service to the church was cut short, we believe, God in his wisdom will multiply the seed that has fallen to hundred folds to impact generations for eternity,” it added. The Principal OTC further prayed for the bereaved wife, children and family to find comfort in the peace of God.
