DIMAPUR, APRIL 17 (MExN): Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, S. Toiho Yeptho, conducted coordination meetings at Suruhuto Town and Asuto Town on April 16 and 17, respectively, as part of his outreach in the Suruhuto-Asuto 33 A/C.
The meetings centred on the upcoming census drive and developmental activities carried out in the constituency over the past three years.
Addressing the gatherings, the Deputy Speaker urged residents to actively and responsibly participate in the census drive. He also highlighted major development initiatives undertaken in the area under his leadership during the period.
Yeptho expressed appreciation to Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, saying that under his leadership, substantial development has taken place in the Suruhuto-Asuto area, turning the aspirations of its people into reality.
Khetovi Achumi, President of the Suruhuto Area Gaonburahs Association, commended the Deputy Speaker for his efforts towards the development and upliftment of the people of Suruhuto.
The meetings were attended by village council chairmen, gaonburahs, Kukamis, Dobashis, town council members, and other public leaders from both areas.
