Nagaland Youth Resources & Sports Advisor, Er Zale Neikha today stressed on the need to develop a sense of unity, harmony and understanding through sports.

“I have high hope in the youth of Nagaland that with dedication and commitment on sports, we will achieve great things,” Er. Neikha said while addressing the 43rd Youth Day of Kezo Town Youth Organization (KTYO) at Kezo Town under Kohima district.

He maintained that “Youth are the pillar of our tomorrow” adding “It is the time for growth and change.”

The Advisor informed that the present government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, is concentrating on youths and sports.

He also told the gathering that Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in collaboration with Government of Nagaland is planning to go for bidding to host National Games in the state.

Earlier, the inaugural programme was led by Kelengol Tase while Kikhwel Kiso delivered welcome address.

GB Puviho Kiso also exhorted the gathering while KTYO games & sports secretary Vilesii Mekro administered oath to the participating teams.

The meet will continue till December 31.
