Kohima, December 14 (MExN): MLA Neiba Kronu also the Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board said that development can be achieved only through united vision and work culture by cooperating with the government. He was speaking at a recent tour to 16 Pfutsero A/C. He was accompanied by a team of senior government officers along with party workers of the constituency. Vethihu Kezo, PS to Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board informed this in a release.
Kronu also urged upon the constituency people to maintain a spirit of unity and abstain from hatred and envy. Speaking to the constituency members Kronu said, “The old practice of inviting the politicians to various occasions as Chief Guest without the vision for proper developmental activities should be done away with.”
He also stressed the need for constant interaction between the public and their representative to the government for better understanding.
Representations for various developmental activities and urgent basic requirements of the area were also submitted to the respective departments through him. For this he assured that he will do his best by initiating and pursuing matters in the greater interest of the constituency.
During the tour, Kronu asked the people to continue to support and extend cooperation to DAN government to bring about greater development and prosperity under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, “who has great vision and concern for the Nagas,” the note stated.
Further, a number of senior government officers also exhorted the people to extend cooperation in every possible means in the interest of all and reminded the people that government is always ready to address their genuine needs and grievances of the people, the note added.
