DFD officials along with winners of essay and painting competition.

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): Along with the Nation, Dimapur Forest Division observed the wildlife week on the theme “Wildlife conservation through coexistence” along with GMS Midland, executive & ministerial staff of the division.
In his address, Beizo Suokhrie, DFO Dimapur highlighted the significance of the week and urged the students to play an important role for the society and wildlife. Short speeches on wildlife conservation were delivered by Lonyei Konyak & Joseph Angami of GMS Midland followed by prize distribution (certificates & cash) of Dimapur District Level Essay competition. Winners in the essay competition include Esther Kikon Class IX of Eden HSS in the 1st position, Lipoktila Longkumer, Class XII of Maple Tree School in 2nd position, Moasenla Imsong Class XII (arts) in 3rd position.
Winners of painting competition were Nuveyo, Class IX, GHSS Singrijan-1st position, Alia Mican Longkumer, Class X, Maple Tree School-2nd position and Papiya Biswas, Class IX, Lewis Academy-3rd position.
Vivika A Sema, ACF delivered the speech on the theme of the wildlife week while the concluding remark was delivered by Limaangtet Jamir, RO and program chaired by Bokato Sema, RO.
