DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): The Golden Jubilee of Dimapur Government College Evangelical Union was celebrated on October 15 at Dimapur government College under the theme ‘Your Faithfulness Continues Through All Generations’ with Dr Neizo Puro, Asst Professor, Dept of Botany, NU as the theme speaker.
The Jubilee celebration began with a warm and heartfelt worship by the Praise &Worship Team, DGCEU. The programmme was led by Zuchobeni, Advisor, DGCEU and Ayuh Konyak, former President, DGCEU (2019-20). Dr Hannah Tia, Advisor, DGCEU invoked God's presence in the midst of gathering.
Sedevino Jakhalu, Senior Advisor, DGCEU welcomed those who had gathered warmly. A special song was presented by Sunday, a former committee member of DGCEU. David Koza, President UESI, Nagaland; Bino, Pioneer Advisor, DGCEU, Dr ML Ngullie, former Senior Advisor, DGCEU; Edward Mariizii, State Secretary, UESI Nagaland; and Achum Shitri, President, DGCEU (2018-19) gave speeches that detailed the progress of DGCEU throughout the years.
DICEU, West Zone performed choreography which was followed by a special song by the present DGCEU committee members. Before the speaker delivered his message, he released the jubilee souvenir with a prayer of blessing. Bonghok, President, DGCEU delivered the vote of thanks, followed by benediction by Kalivi Zhimomi, Staff Worker, West Zone, Dimapur, UESI Nagaland.
