Diabetes screening camp

A free diabetes screening camp was held at Police Referral Hospital, Chumukedima in collaboration with Lincoln Pharmaceutical Company on April 3. CMO, Dr. N Adaho delivered the introductory speech to the patients. A total of 122 people were screened for Random Blood sugar and HbA1c after which counseling was also given. Out of the total 122 screened, 16 were pre-diabetic and 22 were diabetic, according to a press release.
