DIER goes online

Dimapur, August 14 (MExN): Dimensions Institute for Education & Research (DIER) officially today, launched its website www.dier.in at the Dimensions Centre, Dimapur.

The website is aimed to provide assistance to various schools, colleges and individuals who wish to seek information about the services provided in the field of phonetics, spoken English IT, poetry and publishing.

While launching the site, Noel Manuel, director DIER said that it was a dream come true. He added: “I've waited for 13 years to see this day and I must thank my God and wife for making this happen. 

"It is my promise to the people of the Northeast that I will release 50 English language teaching and learning aids by the year 2012.”

General Secretary of the United Tribal Society Ketholenuo Angami Manuel said: “God has been so loving and merciful, he showed my husband a vision in 1996 and that vision has become a reality today. It is my belief that he will continue to give us strength and courage to face all the adversities and obstacles that stand in our way.”

Meanwhile, DIER is a project of the United Tribal Society which was established in September 5, 2004. To mark the 5th year of its existence, the centre will release a book titled, 'Learn Grammar through speaking' with two CDs and a book: 'How to overcome interviews' with one CD.

The centre has so far released six books and six CDs on phonetics and conversation, while in poetry there have been seven publications with four at the national level.
