Tuensang, May 9 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Nokchasashi graced the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Tuensang silver jubilee at DIET Auditorium Tuensang on May 8.
Speaking on the occasion, a DIPR report stated that the DC Tuensang said achieving a Jubilee is not an easy task. “It is a day of celebration of achievement and also a time of devotion and commitment to our work to reevaluate and draw a road map for the action plan for the future,” he stated.
Stating that the state has a shortage of trained and qualified teachers which hampers the quality of the education system, the DC encouraged the students to adjust to the changing qualities of the world and envisioned the skill and knowledge which will benefit the society as a whole.
He also highlighted the New Education Policy 2020 of the Government.
At the function, a keynote address from Limawabang Jamir VP DIET, a special number by Jubilee Choir, a special prayer for DIET by Akhang Pastor Unit Baptist Church 3rd NAP, and a Vote of thanks was delivered by K Hekamla Lecture DIET. The programme was chaired by Bendanglemle Chang Lecture DIET Tuensang.
