
Mon, April 13 (DIPR): Workshop on Digital/Cashless Payment Awareness was held at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall on April 13 which was organised by the District Administration in collaboration with National Informatics Centre, Mon. Ravi Ranjan Kumar, District Informatics Officer, Mon said that digital economy for all is our opportunity to bring social change. In his power point presentation he mentioned about the important of Digital Payment Modes like Prepaid Cards, Debit/RuPay cards, *99# service, Mobile wallets, BHIM App and UPI App.He also said that everyone should start practicingregistration of mobile number at banks for regular information by SMS for every transaction, to never share our PIN to anyone, to always log out our Payment App after use and at ATM and to ensure no one is looking over our shoulders during transactions.
Short quiz session on Digital Payment was also held for all the participants of the programme where prize were also given to the winners.
