
Tuensang, April 4 (DIPR): The digital payment awareness programme organised by NIC Tuensang District unit was held on April 3 at Government ITI Tuensang with DIO NIC Tuensang, Ruuvisie Kehie as the resource person.
Speaking at the programme he sensitized on the benefits of Digital money and Digital payment method. He also said that Government of India has stopped cash transaction above Rs. 3 lakhs but 96% of business transaction in India is still cash, whereas European countries use very little cash business transactions. Therefore he urged the gathering to used low-cost, convenient fair, just transparent Digital payment and spread the Digital payment campaign.
The programme was chaired by Mhonbeni Khuvung V.I cutting & sewing. Welcome address delivered by Principal Government ITI Tuensang, Er. N. Nyaksham Phom. Invocation was done by Sethrongchem V.I Carpentry and vote of thanks by Temjentoshi V.I Electrician.
