Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): Ten year old, Kivimi L Zhimo of Delhi Public School, Dimapur was the youngest donor at the hair and wig donation and breast cancer awareness event held in Dimapur on July 24.
With the rest of the world, the Hair Aid Global Cut-A-Thon event was organised in Dimapur by the Nagaland Ambassador Hair for Hope India & Protect Your Mom, Asia via Metaverse, the organisers stated in a press release.
Ninato Zhimomi, who also grew his hair and donated during the event said, “My father is also a cancer patient and after I came to know about this noble initiative I started to grow my hair for cancer patients.”
The event was held at Shear Pleasure Salon, 4th Mile on July 24. A total of 27 donors donated their hairs for cancer patients on Chemotherapy.
The organiser thanked all the donors and Kaliho Zhimomi, Proprietor, Shear Pleasure Salon and Team for partnering with Hair for Hope India & Protect your Mom, Asia.
