Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): Marking the International Women’s Day, the Dimapur 24/7 honoured three women for their significant contributions to society.
In a press release, Dimapur 24/7 stated that they recognised 67-year-old Azule, a “traditional healer and massage therapist” from the Rengma community of Nagaland.
Dimapur 24/7 felicitated Anita (Rani) Saha, mother of Niranjan Saha, founder of the Vivekananda Welfare Foundation (VWF).
Dimapur 24/7 also honoured Seema Bhowal, a social worker for her contributions to various social initiatives.
The team under the leadership of Annie Jain, presented gifts and cash, the release added.
