Dimapur, June 18 (MExN): Dimapur 24x7, a nonprofit organisation, based in Dimapur, repaired the pothole-ridden stretch in the popular traffic police point area near Zeliangrong village, Dhobinala. 

According to a press release from the organisation, the area had witnessed many accidents caused by bad roads and big potholes. As such, the Dimapur 24x7 team decided to repair the road with funds accumulated from the advertisements on its social media page. A total expenditure of Rs 15,000 has been incurred towards the repair work, it added.

“We have been blessed enough that many kind and generous souls have always helped us in our charity works be it helping the needy or the sick people or any kind of social cause. We thank everyone for always showering your love and support to Dimapur 24x7,” the press release stated.

As per the release, the organisation also provides the latest news and updates on its Instagram and Facebook pages.  Additionally, when the pandemic hit the state in 2020, the team provided food and other basic necessities to many people in and around Dimapur city, it said. 

Further, the Dimapur 24x7 extended gratitude to all the organisations, individuals and kind souls coming out to help the needy people.
