2nd Inter-College Science Fair was held at Immanuel College, Dimapur on April 1.

Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): Immanuel College, Science Club in collaboration with Department of Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Geology and Environmental Studies organised the 2nd Inter-College Science Fair ‘PEIRAMA 2023’ under the theme ‘role of modern science in sustainable development’ on April 1.
In the power point presentation, Moasola S Jamir of St John College (SJC) and Stephen J Kithan of St Joseph University bagged the 1st and 2nd position respectively. In poster presentation, H Ngoeang Phom of Immanuel College (IC) and Hokishe Sumi of IC were adjudged as first and second and in the category of model exhibition, Sanghanchoba and Benda of IC were adjudged the winner and Ashish Sunuwar and I Zhimoka of SJC were the runner up.
Cash prize was awarded to the winners and certificates were awarded to all the participants in all the events.
The Judges for the events were Dr Ningombam Premkumer singh Asst. Prof. Dept of Botany, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) and Dr Jichule Seb, Asst. Prof, Department of Botany, IC.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Reshma Thakuri, HoD Dept of Zoology and welcome address was delivered by Sharatchandra Singh, Principal, Immanuel college. The competition of the event was chaired by S Serfudin Ali, Asst Prof Dept of EVS and vote of thanks was delivered by Renathung C Ngullie Convenor, Science Club.
