Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): The Dimapur Airport celebrated vigilance awareness week (VAW) under the theme “Eradicate corruption-Build a new India.” The VAW started with the inauguration of Integrity Club at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Project Sewak, Dimapur Airport Director Mughavi Zhimo at 08:30AM followed by administration of Pledge to the students by Mughavi Zhimo, Airport Director and Umesh Chandra, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur. As a part of VAW 2018, a help desk to enable citizen to take E-pledge was set up at the Airport. Altogether, 26 citizen took the E-pledge including K Therie, President NPCC & Abhishek Singh, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to Chief Minister. More activities such as setting up Integrity Club at 01(one) Govt School and organising essay/debates/Poster competition, Walkathon, distribution of pamphlets, lectures on public movement etc., will be carried out during the VAW 2018, a press from the Airport Director informed.
