DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): The Ao Baptist Churches in Dimapur area have decided to extend combined voluntary effort in providing “physical and spiritual food” for 300 returnees in three quarantine centers located in Dimapur government college administrative block.
The initiative has been undertaken under the aegis of the Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship and Dimapur based Ao Civil Societies that include Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur, Dimapur Watsü Telongjem, Dimapur Ao Lanur Telongjem and Ao Kaketshir Telongjem, Dimapur.
“We shall accept and treat all the returnees as our special guests to be accommodated in the said quarantine centers irrespective of tribe and community affiliation for all 14 days,” said a press release from Covener, Supu Jamir and Secretary, Imti Jamir.
“It is expected that the quarantine period in our centers will be another good time for all of us to share our feelings and the love of God through various means,” the press release added.
