Dimapur, August 11 (MExN): The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHDCL) has sanctioned the 3rd installment of the compensation amount for payment of land, building and other items for landowners affected by the proposed Dimapur Bypass 4-lane road from Chumukedima/Patkai Bridge to Khushiabill Village vide F.No. NHIDCL/Nagaland/Dimapur Bypass/2015, dated August 2, 2016.
Informing this in a press release, the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome, has informed all landowners and beneficiaries of the abovementioned villages that the 3rd phase payment of compensation shall be paid at the office of the Dimapur DC at the time and dates as specified below:
1.Chumukedima Town, Block-I (Plot No. 2 to Plot No. 21) on August 18, from 9am to 12:30pm
2.Beneficiaries who are yet to collect compensation from the 1st and 2nd installments: from 1- 2PM.
In this regard, the DC has directed the concerned affected landowners/beneficiaries to come “in person” to collect their respective checques at the specified time and date.
The Head GBs/Chairmen/Convenor and members of the concerned village/ward councils are hereby informed to be physically present for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques of their respective village. Failing this, payment will be withheld, the DC warned.
Mandatory documents required to be furnished by beneficiaries are: ID proof, Bank passbook, Passport photos (5 nos), Original Land Documents (Jamabandi/patta passbook etc).
This is for strict compliance of all concerned, the DC stated.
