Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): The Dimapur Changtongya Fellowship (DCF) organised a one-day retreat at the AIDA Conference Hall, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on October 2.

The resource persons at the retreat were Merensola Imchen, Chaplain-cum-Counsellor at Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School, and Temsutoshi Longkumer, a Financial Consultant working as a freelancer, who shared valuable insights and guidance to the youth in attendance.

The main speaker of the day was Rev Kilang Jamir, Director of Youth Harvest Ministry. It also featured a morning devotion led by Rev Talimeren Longkumer, Director of Nehemiah Vision Trust and praise and worship by Imlitemsu & friends.

Under the theme “Terenemtet Lanur,” which roughly translates to "well-prepared" youth, the organiser said that the aim of the retreat was aimed at equipping young individuals with a holistic set of skills and knowledge.

Accordingly, the youth attendees were sensitised on a range of life and spiritual lessons, including career guidance extending beyond government sectors. The retreat also emphasised the importance of leading a spiritual life for a contented and fulfilled existence.
