DIMAPUR, JUNE 28 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel today informed that compensation for landowners and beneficiaries affected due to the New BG Railway under Dimapur district will be paid in the DC’s office on July 2 from 10:00am onwards for Piphema/Pherima village. A notice from the Dimapur DC informed the Chairman/Head GB and members of the concerned village council to be present in person for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques, failing which payment would be withheld. All affected landowners and beneficiaries have been asked to come in person alongwith identity proof, bank passbook (original), passport photo (5 copies) etc. “Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained,” the notice stated.
