Dimapur DC informs beneficiaries on National Highway-29 land compensation

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has sanctioned the un-cleared compensation amount for payment of land, building and other items to landowners affected by NH 29 four-lane road from Patkai Bridge to Piphema village.  

Informing this, the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur Kesonyu Yhome in a public notice has directed the concerned to come “in person” to the office of the Dimapur DC to collect their respective cheques.  

Landowners and beneficiaries of New Chumukedima, Jarnapani, Kukidolong, Medziphema villages have been asked to collect their cheques on September 29 from 9am onwards and those from Pherima, Piphema and Tsiepama villages on September 30 respectively.

  The Head GBs/Chairman and members of the concerned village councils have also been asked to be physically present for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques of their respective village, failing which, payment will be withheld.  

Mandatory documents required to be furnished by beneficiaries include ID proof, bank passbook, passport size photos (five nos), and original land documents (jamabandi/patta passbook etc).
