Dimapur, April 11 (DIPR): Dimapur District Planning & Development Board (DP&DP) meeting was held at the DC’s Conference hall on April 11. The Deputy Commissioner and DP&DB Vice Chairperson, N.Hushili Sema (IAS) chaired the meeting. At the outset, the DC thanked all the members and others concerned for their co-operation and contribution for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the recent Lok Sabha Elections.
The Dimapur Board Members gave approval for naming of the road from Zion Hospital up to the residence of Khevishe Chophy, Rtd ADC as H.K Khulu Road. This was done as per the resolution of the Joropukhuri Colony Council which was submitted to the DP&DB for approval.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked all departments within the District to prepare and to submit their current plans and programs for the year 2014-15 and also to reflect last years achievement in their write up and to submit to the DC’s office on or before 30th April 2014.
Earlier, the departments of Fishery and Soil & Water Conservation gave PowerPoint presentations. The Chief executive officer, Dimapur Vimezo informed that the Fishery Department had an aquarium at their office at Half Nagarjan, Dimapur which anyone interested may visit on any working days.
For the next DP&DB Meeting the departments of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Food and Civil Supplies were directed to give departmental presentations.
