Dimapur, August 5 (DIPR): The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Dimapur district for the month of August was held on August 5 in the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur.
Deputy Commissioner Kesonyu Yhome, who chaired the meeting, reminded the officers to ensure that assignments given to them with regard to Independence Day celebration are set in place.
He also expressed appreciation to the DDMA members of Dimapur district and other officials for the assistance rendered during the recent flood in Dimapur. He extended special thanks to the 32 AR for their support in various ways at Ekyo Yan (Domokia) during the rescue operation.
While referring to the OM issued by P&AR with regard to recording of APARs of the district head offices, Kesonyu informed all concerned that the reporting aspect has to go through their respective HODs.
The House after deliberation and also based on the verification report from the concerned officer recommended for registration of Nagaland Body Building & Fitness Association.
In the meeting, Excise department gave their departmental presentation. Further, the Board entrusted Urban Development and Lead Bank to give their departmental presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
