
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 25 (MExN): Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division, Department of Power has informed consumers that it will carry out disconnection drive for non-payment of electricity bills for two (2) consecutive months for all categories of consumers within its jurisdiction without further notice. It has therefore advised the consumers to pay their electricity bill within the stipulated time in order to avoid any inconveniences. In case of discrepancies/grievances with regard to electricity bill, all concerned have been directed to visit the office of the respective SDO (E) NO-I, II, III for clarification/correction/rectification at the earliest. It further sought to inform that for non receipt of electricity bill, one can login at www.dopn.gov.in to view and pay the electricity bill. Alternately, consumers can also download an app “Vodafone M-pesa wallet” from android phones for hassle free payment of electricity bill in just a few minutes from any place, anywhere.
