Dimapur, February 25 (MExN): The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur, will organise ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ — an outreach and awareness programme — at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School auditorium, Dimapur on February 27 at 10 am.

An official update received here informed that the initiative aims to facilitate stakeholder engagement, address grievances and enhance awareness about EPFO schemes and digital services.

Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Dimapur, Samuel Das, along with Enforcement Officer Kallal Bhattacharjee and other officials, will personally hear grievances from workers, employers and industry representatives. The session will also provide handholding support to employees and establishments requiring assistance in provident fund-related matters.

The programme will cover key areas including guidance on filing grievances through EPiGMS, CPGRAMS and other grievance redressal portals. Stakeholders will also be educated on digital services and fraud prevention measures, including e-nomination, online claim filing, KYC updates in UAN and use of the Principal Employer Dashboard.

The session will further focus on employee rights and employer responsibilities to ensure compliance with social security provisions such as provident fund, pension and insurance benefits. A dedicated pension help desk will be set up to resolve pension-related grievances on the spot.

EPFO has urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives and industrial chambers to participate actively in the programme. Employers have been encouraged to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from the first day of employment.

Under the Employees' Pension Scheme and the Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, workers in Nagaland are entitled to pension and insurance coverage of up to Rs 7 lakh.

Stakeholders have also been invited to provide feedback and suggestions during the session to help improve EPFO services.
