Titan FC win 3-0, Ekhyo FC and United V&S draw
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): Titan FC beat Dorian’s Society while Ekhyo FC and United V&S played out a goalless draw at the ongoing Dimapur Football League at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on September 28.
During the first match Titan FC beat Dorian’s Society 3-1. Amon opened the scoring for Titan FC in the 13th minute while Kevezo scored the second goal in the 17th minute. Kevezo added to his tally by scoring another goal in the 69th minute sealing the win for Titan FC. Inavi of Dorian’s was issued a yellow card at 53 minutes.
In the second match, both Ekhyo FC and United V&S failed to find the net ending the match in a scoreless draw. Ekhonthung and Bemo of Ekhyo FC and Ito of United V&S were yellow carded during the match.
The third round of Dimapur Football League was graced by Khekato V. Awomi, Entrepreneur as the Match Patron. In his brief speech, Khekato urged upon the players to be proud of being a part of the DFL stating that Nagaland has limited scope to exhibit one’s talents. Stating that success does not come at once, he encouraged the players never to give up and give their best while maintaining discipline.
