Dimapur: Jt. CCA office celebrates 25th anniversary of formation

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 2 (MExN): The Office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), North East-II, Dimapur, Nagaland, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the formation of the CCA setup with a commemorative function.

The event highlighted the evolution and achievements of the CCA system over the past 25 years in ensuring transparent, efficient and accountable financial administration in the telecommunications sector.

The function was attended by retired personnel, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) operating in the region, reflecting the office’s commitment to inclusive dialogue and stakeholder engagement.

An interactive session allowed participants to share experiences, offer feedback, and discuss challenges and opportunities in telecom finance and service delivery, providing valuable insights for strengthening collaboration.

Addressing the gathering, Joint Controller of Communication Accounts, NE-II, K. Sajal, recalled the CCA setup’s journey since its inception in 2000. He said the setup was created to ensure financial discipline and transparency within the Department of Telecommunications and has evolved into a key interface between the government and telecom stakeholders.

Sajal emphasized the importance of innovation and adaptability, urging the office to embrace digital transformation in delivering services such as pension disbursement, license fee collection, and spectrum usage charge monitoring.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and reaffirmation of the CCA office’s commitment to accountability, transparency and service excellence.
