Events open for U-14 and U-16 categories at Pilgrim Hr. Sec. School
DIMAPUR, JUNE 2 (MExN): The Dimapur Junior Athletics Meet 2025 is set to take place on June 14 at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. The meet will feature two age categories—Under-14 (for those born between August 31, 2011 and August 30, 2013) and Under-16 (for those born between August 31, 2009 and August 30, 2011)—with separate events for boys and girls.
Participants in the U-14 category can compete in either of two triathlon formats: Triathlon I will comprise 60-meter sprint, long jump (with a 5-meter approach), and back throw (shot put, 1 kg); while Triathlon II will include 60-meter sprint, long jump (5-meter approach), and 600-meter run.
The U-16 category will feature individual events including 60-meter and 600-meter races, long jump (5-meter approach), standing shot put (3 kg for girls and 4 kg for boys), and javelin throw (10-meter approach).
