Dimapur: Meeting resolves to uphold ‘integrity and efficiency of CSC operations’

Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The Common Service Centre (CSC) Dimapur VLE Society convened its annual meeting on April 20, bringing together VLEs from Dimapur, Chümoukedima, and Niuland, alongside esteemed members of the State and District Teams.

The Dimapur CSC VLE Society, Information & Publicity A Shyerhunlo Lorin and Chairman, Menkato V Awomi in a press release stated that during the meeting, several crucial resolutions were passed to uphold the “integrity and efficiency of CSC operations within the society.”

The body adopted three major resolutions concerning sharing of CSC IDs, Compliance with CSC Centre Standards and establishment of grievances cell.

Strict prohibition on sharing CSC IDs
The CSC VLE Society Dimapur unequivocally declared that no CSC VLE is permitted to share their CSC ID for any services with any individual other than themselves. Any violation of this directive will result in legal action, including fines and the blocking of the CSC ID. This measure aims to combat fraudulent activities and scams associated with government schemes such as Ayushman Bharat/CMHIS.

Mandatory Compliance with CSC Centre Standards
The society mandated that no CSC VLE shall operate without proper CSC Centres bearing common branding. No VLE is allowed to function from Home. Failure to adhere to this requirement while engaging in any schemes will lead to the blocking of the CSC ID and imposition of fines. This resolution aims to maintain consistency and professionalism across all CSC operations.

Establishment of Grievances Cell
Recognizing the importance of addressing public complaints and issues promptly, the CSC VLE Society Dimapur decided to establish a dedicated Grievances Cell. This cell will monitor and address all grievances; ensuring necessary legal actions are taken against unauthorized VLEs or individuals tarnishing the reputation of CSC.

“In addition to these key resolutions, the society deliberated on various other matters, the details of which will be made available on the Society Forum for further reference, it stated.
