Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): The annual Dimapur Night Carnival (DNC) will take place from December 12 to 16 at Dimapur District Sports Council (DDSC) Stadium, from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm daily.
The DNC 2024 is jointly organised by the Dimapur district administration, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) and Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).
The main attractions of the carnival are food stalls catering to different types of cuisines, entertainment, games, kids zone and live music.
Organised during the most pleasant season of the year ahead of Christmas, the carnival provides an opportunity to citizens of all age group to relax, enjoy, meet and interact with people from different diverse sections, DNC media committee stated in a press note.
The DNC has twin objectives - festivity and opportunity. Firstly, it provides unparalleled entertainment for the visitor through a multitude of events.
Secondly, it gives an opportunity to the youth and upcoming entrepreneurs to showcase their products to a larger audience through a variety of stalls in the carnival.
The carnival also provides a platform for budding and upcoming artistes to showcase their talent.
Forms for registration of stalls can be collected from DMC office; Breeze Restaurant and Titan Showroom, Church Road; Universal Bakery and Carat Lane, Khermahal; Popular Baker, Purana Bazar; Shoe Plaza and CT Square, Chümoukedima.
