DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 16 (MExN): The Dimapur Pickleball Open 2025 will be held on September 20 and 21 at The Fitness House (TFH), Dimapur.
Organised by the Nagaland Pickleball Association, the inaugural tournament carries a total prize of 1, 00,000 and will see competition across four categories- Men’s Doubles Open, Mixed Doubles, Men’s Singles Open, and Mixed Doubles 50+ Open.
The event will be attended by the President of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, and the CEO of IPA, Aditya Khanna, underscoring its significance for the state’s pickleball community, the organiser stated in a press release.
The Organising Committee also conveyed gratitude to title sponsor Bharat Benz JK Trucking and other partners for their support, stating that such contributions are vital for fostering the sport and promoting a healthy lifestyle in the community.
The Dimapur Pickleball Open aspires to become a flagship annual tournament, furthering the rise of pickleball and strengthening Nagaland’s position as a growing hub for emerging sports, it added.
