Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, has activated intensive checking of the movement of suspected illegal immigrants at various inter-state entry or check points, including three checking counters at Dimapur Railway Station.
As per an official release, the round-the-clock checking is being undertaken to prevent further illegal entry following the reported “influx of illegal immigrants” into Nagaland.
In this connection, the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, has also urged the public, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organiaations), and CSOs (Civil Society Organisations) to contact the Police Control Room at 7085055050 for immediate action regarding the issue.
