Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Police informed one unidentified dead body has been to the Dimapur Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination after its recovery on September 9.
The Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO Dimapur police, in a release, informed that it received a report from Dimapur Hospital located in Purana Bazar on Thursday that one unidentified dead body (Male) was brought to the hospital.
“Inquest was conducted on the dead body and no foul play could be established. Froth was seen coming from the deceased mouth and nose,” the release said.
The deceased is highly suspected to have died due to dehydration, it added.
Accordingly, after observing all the necessary formalities, the dead body was shifted to Dimapur Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination, the release said.
“Claimant/ relatives/ friends of the deceased are hereby requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge East Police Station Dimapur,” it added.
