Dimapur Police recover stolen vehicles

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The personnel of Diphupar Police Station recovered one Assam registered Bolero pick-up truck from a servicing station at Chumukedima on September 9. The driver of the vehicle, according to a press release, abandoned it after sensing that the vehicle was being watched. The vehicle has been seized and kept in the Diphupar Police Station for further verification.

  The press release issued by ADCP/PRO, Dimapur Police further informed that another Bolero pick-up truck was recovered on September 10 from Ikishe village after the same was left abandoned by unknown persons. The vehicle was reportedly kept there unattended for few days and the village authorities informed the police, it added. The police ascertained that the vehicle belonged to a government department and was stolen on September 6 from Dimapur, the PRO said.  

The same day, one unregistered KTM bike was also recovered near the Airport junction, Dimapur. The same was verified to have been stolen the previous night from Duncan Bosti, Dimapur.
