Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Thursday stated that at around 0930 hrs, a verbal information was received at Sub-urban Police Station, Dimapur stating that one unidentified male dead body (non-local) aged around 40-45 yrs (approx) was lying dead adjacent to the railway tracks in a drainage at Thahekhu Block-2.
Accordingly basing on the information, the duty party rushed to the PO site and inquest was conducted over the dead body which was found to be in a decomposed state. “However, the cause of death could not be ascertained. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification,” Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/ PRO, Dimapur stated in an official update.
The deceased was wearing blue jeans, blue shirt.
