Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Saturday recovered one unidentified non-Naga male (approx 50-60 yrs) dead body lying below flyover near hotel Blue Bird, Dimapur.
A press update received here stated that the duty party rushed to the place of occurrence and conducted inquest over the dead body. It informed that the deceased was found lying facing upward covered by the blanket wearing black colour t-shirt and white colour shirt.
Further, it informed that the deceased was a homeless person and often sleeps in the said area. No visible injury marks could be established over the deceased body and the cause of death is suspected to be due to starvation and illness, it stated. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination and identification.
