Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Dimapur on July 10 informed of guidelines for the extended phase of unlock in the district from July 11 to 17.
As per the notification, shops/business establishments dealing in essential commodities such as vegetable/fish/meat vendors, milk booths, bakeries, local grocery stores, public utility services like LPG and e-commerce service, takeaways and home delivery services for restaurants may remain open on all days from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
All other shops/business establishments dealing with all kinds of goods/items/articles are permitted to open from 6:00am to 4:00 pm only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
All shops located in New Market, Hongkong Market and Hazi Park will be permitted to open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00am to 4:00 pm on odd-even basis.
The DMC Administrator has been entrusted to make necessary arrangements and monitor the same.
Outdoor sports activities other than competitions will be permitted, subject to attendance of not more than 100 persons, and adherence of COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and all the applicable SOPs issued from time to time.
Long distance trains will be allowed to stop at Dimapur Railway Station, provided that all the inbound passengers are asymptomatic and they will be required to produce certificate of having completed their COVID-19 vaccination (both doses).
Inter-district movement has also been permitted subjects to person(s) being asymptomatic and having completed both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination while also adhering to all COVID-19 appropriate behaviours.
Bus service, intra and inter-district taxi service and pillion riding on two wheelers are to remain suspended.
All movement of persons/vehicles except for exempted categories/medical emergencies are to remain restricted from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Any person violating the order shall be penalized as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, the DC cautioned.
