Dimapur, December 1 (MExN): The Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan Youth Ministry celebrated a Cultural Evening on December 1 with the theme "Glorify God through the way of Life," inspired by 1 Corinthians 10:31.
The program commenced at 3:00 PM with Rosy Singh, a Sunday School Teacher, serving as the host. The event opened with praise and worship led by the Youth Ministry, followed by an invocation prayer offered by Sanjana Rai.
Youth Pastor Kamal Sharma delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the evening, and the Youth Ministry presented soul-stirring songs of praise. The offertory prayer was led by Mary Thapa, and a Bible reading was conducted by Maria Ngullie.
The evening’s highlight was the Gorkha Gospels Cultural Dance, a captivating performance by the Youth Ministry that showcased their faith through their heritage. Pastor Rajen Thapa delivered an exhortation, urging the congregation to preserve their cultural identity while glorifying God in their daily lives.
Adding to the cultural festivities, the Women Ministry presented a gospel dance, and the traditional Gorkha cultural dance captivated the audience with its beauty and vibrancy.
Concluding the evening, Youth Secretary Mr. Aita Lama expressed gratitude with a heartfelt vote of thanks, and the event ended with a benediction prayer by Ram Shrestha.
