Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): The body of an unidentified man was found beside a railway track in the Lumding area on November 4, Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur said.
The Dimapur Police said it acted on a memo from the Station Manager of NF Railway, Dimapur regarding a person found dead near the track at KM 250/9-260/0 near Railway Bazar, Lumding end.
A police team that reached the spot found the body of a man, aged approximately 50-55 years, lying in the railway siding area towards the Lumding end. The man, described as a "non-local," was wearing a blue T-shirt, half pant, and was barefoot. After completing legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Morgue for post-mortem examination, the police said.
